Andrea Giannini was born in Bari, Italy, the 25th of April 1994. He received the Bachelor degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering in August 2015 from Politecnico di Bari after working at CERN for the TOTEM experiment. He then received the Master degree in Electronic Engineering in December 2017 from Politecnico di Torino. He was a PhD candidate at ETH Zurich, working on ultra-low power architectures for deep learning on chip solutions up to August 2018. After that he worked as lead digital hardware design engineer in Fathom Computing, a startup located in Palo Alto, California, developing Domain Specific Architectures for machine learning applications, integrating optics with digital designs. Since August 2020 he works as Chief Technology Officer of Exovolar Industries Corp., driving the decisions of the next generation of air mobility systems.

Founded in 2013, ARkub is one of the first companies specializing in augmented and virtual reality – conceptualization and development – in the UAE. Karthee is a Founder and Managing Partner at MFV Partners, an US-based, early-stage deep-tech venture fund targeting technology startups that are disrupting traditional industries like Automotive, Manufacturing and others. Karthee invests in frontier-tech startups in robotics, 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Alternative Energy, Climate Tech, Quantum Computing, Autonomous Platforms, and Internet of Things. He represents MFV Partners’ investments in PsiQuantum (Quantum Computing Hardware), Agility Robotics (Humanoid Robotics for Manufacturing), Sun Mobility (EV Tech platform), Rescale (High Performance Computing) among others. Before MFV, Karthee spent 11 years as a Corporate Vice President and Managing Director at Qualcomm Ventures where he invested across the US, Israel, and India. He started Qualcomm Ventures’ investment activities in both Israel and India. Some of his notable investments include Waze (acquired by Google), MapMyIndia (NSE: MAPMYINDIA) and Validity Sensors (acquired by Synaptics) among others. He continues as an independent director at MapMyIndia. Karthee has a master’s in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan. Karthee holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Karthee is also a Kauffman Fellow.
