Previously, he was the SVP of AI and Applied Sciences at M42, where his team of scientists and engineers developed AI models such as Med42 (LLM), Gene42 (Genomics LLM), AIRIS-TB (Imaging AI), amonth others. Before M42, he was a Healthcare AI researcher at Inception (G42) in UAE. At Inception, Dr. Khan was a founding faculty member at the Mohamed Bin Zayed University of AI. Prior to moving to UAE, Dr. Khan was a Fellow in Radiology at Harvard Med and Boston Children’s Hospital. He holds a PhD in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College, and Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from Harvard University.
